CCP - The seven partners

The Children’s Centre Project (CCP) looked at ways the children’s voluntary sector could work together to improve the lives of children and young people. The project brought together seven national children’s charities, who all had an interest in partnership working and sharing ideas. They needed a study on how web services could enable the organisation, which they put out to tender.

Action

Our response was based on our excellence both individually and as a team in providing both solutions in the sector and our working with clients in a partner-type relationship, to deliver high quality work at low cost. Having been in these situations before, knowing that every penny counts for this type of organisation, by being smaller than most of the other companies we felt we could really offer value and insight working with the partner organisations, pulling on our vast depth of experience in delivering web-based services.

Performance

The study was delivered on time and to budget. The client has since reported on how delighted they were both with the reports and the conduct of our consultants in dealing with the partners, from CEO’s through to web administrators. The cultural fit between us was so natural that we were even asked to help one of the partners with a recruitment issue, which we have completed and an IT manager subsequently appointed. The CCP project ended in March 2008.
